We were studying in Methodist Boys’ School, Kuala Lumpur a very notorious school and under a lot influence from the gangs around our school and in no time we were involved with gangsters, gambling, smoking, and stealing and even extortion. At that time we find that it is really exciting and we feel very powerful with all the gangs behind you. And so my life carries on like this as a worldly person indulging into any form of sinful nature that the world has to offer.

In 1974 when I was 14 years old my whole family received Jesus Christ as our personal savior and in December 1975 my whole family got baptizes and we were attending Glad Tidings P.J. at that time.
But after a while the outside world got the better of me and my second brother David, and so we back slided. We were studying in Methodist Boys’ School, Kuala Lumpur a very notorious school and under a lot influence from the gangs around our school and in no time we were involved with gangsters, gambling, smoking, and stealing and even extortion. At that time we find that it is really exciting and we feel very powerful with all the gangs behind you. And so my life carries on like this as a worldly person indulging into any form of sinful nature that the world has to offer.
In 1996, my business suffers a very bad down turn and I start to resort to any form of Feng Shui or fortune telling. But each time I went to see these so call “master” and they will always ask my wife and me what is our religion and each time I will answer that I am a Christian. Have you ever wonder why these “master” will ask you about your religion as they will always take it for granted that you will be of any religion but Christianity. So, I was quite disturb about this because I am here to ask them for guidance to prosperity but instead they ask me to go back to church. All in all I have consulted about 4 of these “masters” and strange enough they all have the answer for me and that is to go back to church. Of course at that time I did not know that it was actually a calling from God for me to go back to church. As a stubborn person like me, I did not even give it a thought and I went on to rely on my own capabilities to settle all my business issues.
Finally in 1998, I suffer a major depression both in business and personal level. It was the greatest obstacle in my entire life. I was really down to the verge of giving up everything and at that time my wife reminded me about going back to church. So finally I pluck up enough courage and lower my pride to go back to church and we went to Glad Tidings P.J. When the first sermon was preached by Pastor Vincent Leoh our senior pastor, it was like a replay of my life and every word seems to be directed to me. Even after several sermons I was still very stubborn to give my life back to Christ Jesus, so I took a challenge with God and I said to God, if you are real, please put back in place my life and my business and I will obey and follow you.
God did what he has to do with me and he really put my life back and restored my business. God change all my bad habits like my smoking habit of 23 years, speaking foul language, gambling and all the rest of the bad habits that you can ever imagine. As to my business, God gave me contracts after contracts and I just Praise God that he never stop giving even till today. So, I broke down and said to God that I have lost and that he was real in my life and I will surrender to him totally.
God not only brought me back but at the same time God was also working in my second brother David’s life and also his family. Praise God and Glory to God, his whole family including his in law’s family all accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Savior. Praise God!
One very important person that I want to thank is my Mother whom has been praying consistently for the last 23 years for us to come back to God. Thank God for my mother and I pray that God will continue to bless her.
So Brother and Sister, do not waste time looking for answers to all the problems in your life, all the answers that you ever need is found in God and in the Bible. Do not depend on ourselves, as we are nothing without GOD. Trust God with all your heart and soul and God will not disappoint you. For he will always keep you by his side and will always provide for us. As it is written in John 15:7 – If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish and it will be given to you
