PERSONAL TESTIMONY OF RICHARD CHIA

I lost my business in 1986 and later in 1995 I lost my eldest son in a motorbike accident. Camon, the name of my boy was only 15+ then. After the accident he fell into a coma after his brain surgery. He passed away 5 days later without even saying goodbye.

Losing a business, losing a son... me and my wife and together with my second daughter and my youngest son have gone through this kind of grief, pain and sorrow.

But thank God for giving us the grace to be a little stronger now.

Good day, my name is Richard and I thank God for this opportunity to testify and give glory for God's goodness. In life, all of us will have our ups and downs. I went thru quite a fair bit of it myself.

Hard times don't go away just like that. It takes time to heal. We must learn to accept adversities in our lives because Jesus is in control. We may not understand at that point in time the reason or why things just have to happen. But then we must remember that God's timing is perfect and this we must believe.

With patience and after accepting the adversities, we must learn to "Give them all to Jesus". All the pains, the sorrows, the hurts, the unforgiveness, the tears, the anxieties. Each and everyone here faces problems, troubles and adversities differently. I'm sure some of you have a fair share of it sometimes or other.

Put you troubles and cares in God's hand. He will take it from there. In 1 Peter 5:7 it says, "... let God have all your worries and cares.". We only need to "Give them all to Jesus". It's that simple. God loves us and He will carry all our burdens.

And God knows exactly how much we can take and He will never give you anything more than that. Yes, give it all to Jesus! Cast all your cares upon Him, for He careth for you.

Proverbs 3:5 and 6 says that we are to trust in the Lord with all our hearts, lean not on our own understandings, in all our ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct our path.

Adversities reveal our true self, therefore

Choose to live above the circumstances of life, and

Get over your pass for you can't go forward if you keep looking behind.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, don't carry your own baggage of sorrow, sin and shame... whatever you may be going thru today.... "Give them all to Jesus".
